I’m still debating with myself what all this site should be used for.  Right now I’m too bogged down in projects to take on more commissions, so adding a “hire me” section isn’t a priority right now.  I’m not sure I have much to say in an “about me” area, and I can never keep up with blogging.

In the meantime, I’m trying hard to practice digital painting.  I’m working on setting up my desktop computer to start using it again, as my tablet PC, while amazingly natural to use compared to the standard tablet attachment for desktop PCs, hasn’t got enough RAM or processing power to render the effects I need.  Not to mention that SAI kind of exploded when I tried to load brushes into it.  Now it displays a lot of funny characters, and the only brush shape I have to work with is hard round.

I’m going to be at a lot of conventions this following month.  I guess I could list that information somewhere on the site.  *goes off to fiddle with site construction*

LAVENDER LEGEND
Book 3 was a few months  late.  I normally try to get the book out in October, but with all that’s been going on this year, it just didn’t happen.  I’m still editing the book and trying to collect some bonus materials to make it worth the buy.   I want to make up for this schedule slip by completing book 4 by the end of this year.

What I want to do with Lavender Legend in its online capacity is find a programmer to implement new features to the site.  I’ll be raising funds and looking for such a person with the needed skills in the near future.

THORN PRINCE
Thorn Prince is leading into the second half of what I have planned for it’s entire run.  I want to get at least two new chapters of Thorn Prince completed this year, but they will both be pretty long chapters.

ROSE SLAYER (PRIME)
Rose Slayer is only a few pages from complete.  After it is completed, I want to do another story in the Rose Slayer universe this year.  It will feature more “alternate universe” characters from my different comics.

ROSE SLAYER (VAMP YOU)
It is not yet official, but I have talked to the proprietor of Vamp You about starting a new vampire story on VampYou.

SHIP IN A BOTTLE
I would like to continue the project, but I have been having difficulty fitting it into my schedule due to the amount of professional work I’ve been taking on.  At the least, I’d like to finish the current chapter by the end of 2013.

LOVEXCORE ART COLLECTION 1
This is a book I want to get printed this year.  It’ll have the first Rose Slayer story as well as several pinups, and maybe some other cool stuff.  I’m calling it #1 because I expect to have another in the future (possibly 2014).

EMERALD WINTER
Emerald Winter is still on indefinite hiatus.  I would like to complete the current storyline by the end of this year, since so much work on it has already been done on it.  If the work proves popular enough, then I will write a new story to continue onward in.  The main hurdle is that the story and characters are still bits and pieces from an old relationship which I’d like to move on from completely.

I’ll also be looking for programmers for Emerald Winter.

MISCELANEOUS
There are various short stories I’ll be working on for clients and my own websites.  For example, Cupcakes at Filthy Figments.
